Welcome to Texas ESA Website
On behalf
of the Texas State Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, welcome
to our ESA Texas website. If you are looking for an opportunity to
learn, meet new friends, and serve mankind, you have come to the right
place.
ESA is an
international leadership and service organization founded in 1929 with a
network of thousand of members in over 1200 local chapters.
ESA
members help to raise over $10 million dollars annually for both
national and local philanthropic organizations while providing hundreds
of thousands of direct service hours to local charities.
Internationally, ESA supports both St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
and Easter Seals. On a state level ESA supports March of Dimes,
American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, and numerous other local
charities in
Texas. Some of these organizations recognize
Epsilon Sigma Alpha as being a major donor to their causes.
ESA’s
unique program provides each member with the training, education, and
support needed to promote successful public service while developing
personal and professional skills in management, public relations, and
leadership.
ESA
enables its members to be themselves, have fun, and serve others.

$1 MILLION RAISED
AT ST. JUDE MARATHON
Texas sisters Bobbi Dinsmore and Rose Pasillas participated in the
Memphis Marathon benefiting the children of St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital on December 1, 2007. More than $1 Million were
raised from this event.
125 ESA sisters were among the top three fund
raisers for this event raising over $50,000. Thanks to all those
who supported all our ESA sisters. Many participated in the 5 K
run/walk and the 1/2 marathon run/walk. One ESA sister ran the full 26
mile marathon. Congratulations to Theresa Morris from Virginia.
She raise almost $4,000 herself for St. Jude.
Way to go ESA. Mark your calendar
to participate in next year's Memphis Marathon benefiting the kids at
St. Jude. It will be held the first weekend in December, 2008.
Hope to see many Texas ESA'ers and others at this fun event. .
